| Oscar "Teme" Loera

Oscar was born in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from South Gate High School and is currently attending Long Beach City College. Inspired by Iron Maiden and AC/DC's Angus Young, Oscar began playing guitar in 1997. Because of a crush on a young female, instructor, Oscar began taking piano lessons, coincidently expanding his creative musical ideas. Thirteen dollars per week piano lessons would introduce him to Chencha Berrinches and a new world of sound. As a member of Chencha Berrinches, Oscar plays the Keyboards and Guitars.
Oscar's nickname is "Teme" - because of his long hair and his two keyboards. He resembled a one-man-gang version of Spanish artist Los Temerarios. When Oscar is not playing for Chencha Berrinches, he enjoys playing and attending ball games (baseball, football and basketball), creating innovative music and working on other musical endeavors.
